As Michaelmas Terms fast approaches, we asked St Hugh’s Alumnus and Fellow in Medicine, Dr Damian Jenkins MBE (Physiological Sciences, 2000), to reflect on last term and how COVID-19 affected the College and its students.
During the interview Dr Jenkins talks about how College staff and students had to adapt to a different way of working in Trinity Term. He also recounts his experience of working on the frontline of a busy local hospital during the pandemic and how he was joined by many of the St Hugh’s medical students who he describes as “extremely capable doctors”.
